CATHERINE E. SHANELARIS, ESQ.
CATHERINE E. SHANELARIS, ESQ. is a founding member and partner with Shanelaris & Schirch, PLLC in Nashua, NH. She received her B.A. in political science from the University of New Hampshire at Durham and her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center) in 1992. Attorney Shanelaris is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, Nashua Bar Association and Women’s Bar Association. She was formerly the chief staff attorney for the New Hampshire Division of Child Support Services and served as a county governor for the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association. Attorney Shanelaris practices law in the domestic relations area including divorce, child support, parenting and guardianship matters. She is a trained marital mediator. She is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association Family Law Section and the New Hampshire Bar Association Pro Bono Governing Board. Attorney Shanelaris is the former Hillsborough County-South representative for the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association. She was appointed by the New Hampshire Supreme Court as a commissioner to the Access to Justice Commission and the New Hampshire Commission on the New Hampshire Bar in the Twenty-First Century. She is the Hillsborough County-South Governor for the New Hampshire Bar Association Board of Governors, a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association Finance Committee and a member of the Nashua Bar Association Executive Committee. Attorney Shanelaris was appointed by the Governor to the New Hampshire Board of Psychologists as its public board member. She is a New Hampshire Bar Foundation Fellow. Attorney Shanelaris is a frequent lecturer on family law topics at continuing legal education programs and the author of several Bar Journal and legal articles relating to family law issues. Attorney Shanelaris is the recipient of the NHWBA Marilla Ricker Achievement Award, the UNH School of Law Bruce Friedman Award, the NHBA L. Jonathan Ross Pro Bono Award and the John Cameron Collaborative Law Award.
JANE M. SCHIRCH, ESQ., founding Member and Partner Attorney Schirch received her B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 1992. She is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and is licensed to practice in the state of Massachusetts. Attorney Schirch began her legal career in the litigation department of a firm in Boston, Massachusetts where she focused her practice primarily on complex business litigation. She worked for several years as both a Supervising Attorney and Staff Attorney for the New Hampshire Division of Child Support Services. Attorney Schirch has authored several articles relating to child support enforcement and has presented at Continuing Legal Education Seminars on various topics. Attorney Schirch is an active Board Member and the Secretary of the Collaborative Law Alliance of New Hampshire and serves on the New Hampshire Supreme Court Hearings Committee. Attorney Schirch is a current member of the Daniel Webster – William Batchelder Chapter of the American Inns of Court. She is a past board member of the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association and is a member of the Nashua Bar Association and the Family Law section of the New Hampshire Bar Association. Attorney Schirch is an active member of the community, previously serving on the Board of Directors of the American Diabetes Association and Medical Ethics Committee at Parkland Medical Center. She is presently a member of the Friends of Londonderry Hockey Association.
JENNIFER E. WARBURTON, ESQ. is an associate attorney with Shanelaris & Schirch, PLLC in Nashua, NH. Jennifer received her J.D. from BYU Law School in 2009. Attorney Warburton is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, and the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association. She started her legal career in securities law and then taught legal research at Singapore Management University Law School in Singapore before moving to New Hampshire in 2013. Attorney Warburton is a trained mediator and trained Collaborative divorce attorney. For her community involvement, she was elected to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Town of Bow’s Baker Free Library, volunteers with the TEDx Amoskeag/Millyard board and with the Bow High School Parents of Performing Students, and she is the head librarian at Pinkerton Academy. Attorney Warburton’s schedule enables her to assist you with your family law matters in the evenings or on the weekends.
